Know Your Skills, Be Safe, Be Seen & Have Fun!

Skill, safety and fun all go together. Here at SPORTING-SAILS, we make safety a priority. Preparation before a sporting session means knowing your equipment and respecting nature. Here are some tips to consider before using the product.

• Always wear safety gear, helmet and pads. Helmet should fit properly and meet the standards set by ANSI, ASTM, CPSC or EN1078.
• Give your boards and/or skis a safety check before you ride. Check equipment for wear and tear.
• As in any sport, one must learn how to adjust stance and technique accordingly. Be responsible and know your skill-sets and limitations.
• Respect Mother Nature, observe your surroundings and be aware of  traffic.
• Practice how to safely slow down to a complete stop with the SPORTING-SAIL.
  
• Experiment with alternative ways to manage speed and increase stability by trying new methods of deployment.
• Be patient and considerate to others. Be mindful to all types of skill-sets. Teach others your knowledge and learn to listen from the more experienced.
• Accidents do happen. In case of an emergency, call 911.

Fasten lower straps snuggly around both legs

• Ankles, calves or thighs

Securely loop top straps over both hands

• Between thumb and forefinger

To increase air resistance, stability and visibility

• Stand tall and extend arms outward

To decrease air resistance and increase speed

• Draw arms in and tuck
